Urging Resolution on FMAP
Advocates for children and families sent a letter to PA’s Congressional delegation expressing “distress” about the inaction on extending a temporary enhanced federal Medicaid match rate. Advocates also urged members of the PA General Assembly to adopt a “balanced” approach to the state budget so that if Congress fails to act $850 million of cuts do not make children more vulnerable through deep cuts in child welfare, rape crisis, domestic violence, drug and alcohol and homeless assistance.
